Wrap-Up Next has released 3D decals for the Yokomo C35 and Yokomo jzx-100 shells. Both Decals come in 2 different types. They also offer 3D hood locks in 2 styles.

Square RC released at the beginning of the year a quick release battery fastener for the TA-06 chassis. 

I know this is not RC drifting but it's a first from StreetJam. They will be releasing a 1/18th scale 4x4 RTR truggy(GO-KAI) It comes with a 2.4GHz transmitter, 370 can size -4700rpm motor, 7.2v- 1100mah battery and charger. The shell is pre-painted in 2 colors, red and white. 

Sister brand to Topline RC - M's Products is working on a prototype shell/body mounting system. This system will be a lock and roll setup. It is suppose to take the place of the ugly body post sticking from out the shell. Information is scarce, but the video should explain more.

Active Hobby have been working hard on their FR conversion. So hard they have come out with another prototype. This prototype fixes some of the small imperfections that were spotted on the first version model  by test drivers.
Plans for release date and kit specifications are expected in February 2012. Price will also be addressed in February.

Not sure if these will be mass produced, but check out these Eye-spy'd photos of aluminum shock towers and front alloy bumper brace for the the R31 chassis.
