For those who are members of Hyperdrift forums, you may have come across these photos, but for those who are not; I would like to introduce to you KevinTRF and his 1:10 scaled motors.
KevinTRF has built these replicas mostly from "RECYCLED" material. He has replicated off-road and on-road motors.
I asked KevinTRf if he would agree to me posting photos of his scaled motors on my blog and he agreed. I did ask him a few questions through email. Here are the questions and responses.

1. Where you from?

I'm from a small asia country called Brunei Darussalam

2. How long have you been drifting?
     3 & a half years

3. How did you get involved in drifting?
I started drifting in real car with a friend, but than too bad in my country, drifting is just like a crime since they don't provide any race track at all, so I ended up drifting a smaller scale, hahah..now rc drifting a pure rwd chassis

4. Is it a big scene where you are from?

Not really, just a simple type

5. How did you get into building 1:1o scale replica motors?
I love hobbies since I was a kid, and I love replica anything to a smaller scale.

6. Are materials hard to find? What do you use?
Yes, material is limited in my country, normaly I find anything in my rc junks or around places that I can use for the scale build, mostly are recycle material.

7. How long does a project take from start to finish?
Longest time will be in a week, fastest I can build in 4 days if time is limited.

8. Do you make them for fun or profit? What do you charge? How can someone order?

I build some for my own too, I started build a 4age and drift without the front hood for fun just to impress friends tho..hahaha...than never thought of people actually pay me to build one. Normaly I charge at Brunei dollar $50 only included all the engine bay's detail. I only did once for a Malaysian rc drifter, well, not that far from Brunei tho, but further country I've never send it before.

9. Have any big plans in the future?
I just hope to see some of my works in many places..hahah

10. Anything you wanna add?
I just love using recycle materials to build scale engine/engine bay, It is great to see that material which are about to go into garbage can be something else, just need imagination. hahaha

11. Anyone you wanna give a shout to?
To all rc drifters in the world, hopefully pure rwd rc drifting will grow bigger....
Want to say Thanks again to KevinTRF for giving permission to post his photos and taking the time to answer my questions.

Thanks so much Digi16v. I started doing realism builds with my drift rigs and have had a really hard time building an engine bay. 4 attempts and none that I would mount in my car. This man has a serious talent as I have tried this and it is not easy!! There's also another guy from drift mission but the waiting list is unreal and I feel it's not as nice of a job. Not worried about the price. Good product is worth it. So what is your next blog about? Your keeping me in suspense!!
Hope to hear from you soon.
